Okay, DP Phans....IDEFK WTF IS WRONG WITH OUR FANDOM. We are losing SO MANY people, due to "reasons". One of these reasons, is...DUN DUN DUUUNNNN....

I have never seen such intense shipping wars before in my entire life on the internet (maybe there are, its just that,....I feel like the DP fandom is on another critical level)

I've been in this fandom for about 5 years now, and its just...IDEK weird ? Its been quite a long time, and I have evolved myself to start accepting DxOC, but that doesn't mean I actually ship/support it. I may dislike it, but that DOES NOT give me an excuse to go flaming it around people's blogs. Same goes for DxOC shippers, just because you hate DxS OR Sam herself, DOES NOT give you an excuse to go flaming or going on hate for Sam. At least, not in front of other people's blog. Doing that on groups won't do you any good either. Dislike and Hate are different things. Either way, NO EXCUSE to cause a whole commotion. Its good to do discussions on WHY or WHAT reasons you don't agree with something. But starting off a fight because of it is ridiculous. 

DxS shippers may not like DxOC because of certain OCs that TOTALLY replaces Sam's roles. Okay, fine. We can agree that some OCs are not "well-built" and DO NOT have a proper storyline, and are just created to become Danny's new love interest, maybe they're self-inserts. SOME however, DO have their own proper backgrounds and stories, which are properly written/created with an orderly fashion, on HOW do they actually begin to like each other. I mean, really, NOBODY actually confesses their love JUST LIKE THAT without AT LEAST knowing them for a few months. Besides, I've seen some OCs that ONLY get into a serious relationship with Danny during senior years, which makes sense, because you actually got to know that person long enough. Crushes are fine, because thats what we call "love at first sight", nobody knows whether its actually gonna work out. Therefore, crushes and ultimate blushing stuff. Nobody said anything about ACTUAL relationships yet. So, go and do some reading on an OCs background first before bashing an OC.

DxOC shippers may not like DxS because they feel that Sam might not be the perfect person for Danny. I mean, yeah we DO know they show feelings for each other, but the show itself lacks to show reasons to WHY Danny and Sam like each other, which is probably one of the reasons why they don't like it. Maybe they DO like Sam, its just that maybe they don't see that much chemistry between them (after all, Sam is a pretty badass lady sometimes). 

Maybe they hate DxS because of the fans who ONLY know how to flame OCs without actually bothering to read or anything. The first thing they saw might be "eww I hate DxOC how could you hate DxS this OC sucks it can just go die"

This is considerably a nicer way to ask/state your opinion. 

Truth be told, saying the word "I just wanna ask" changes a lot in a sentence. We aren't typing with intonations, therefore, nobody knows EXACTLY what tone are you saying a sentence. Simple phrases like "I just want to ask" or "Its just my opinion" or even "I actually want to know what do you think about ....." is enough to state your REAL reasons to ask. It clarifies that you are only ENQUIRING and DISCUSSING rather than go on all hate and flame.

OPINIONS PEOPLE OPINIONS. WE ARE ONLY HUMANS AND WE ARE NEVER SATISFIED WITH ANYTHING. THEREFORE, OPINIONS.

You can't make someone to agree something just because YOU agree with it. You CAN however, give the person REASONS to like it, but you can't FORCE them to accept something. At least, if you are willing to listen/tell someone politely, why/what, they can at least, acknowledge it, rather than totally hating on it. HOWEVER, if they are still not willing to acknowledge it, you have to accept the fact that they are totally rejecting it. DO NOT force it on them, it will only increase the hatred they already have, despite the fact you _think you're trying to "change their ways", it will only make it worse.

Now, I REALLY REALLY hope this fandom can try to improve itself and the way we think. Not everybody can accept EVERYTHING. We can tolerate, but that doesn't mean we will support it all the way. 

Yes, I am a DxS shipper. No, I do not ship DxOC. No, I did not use Photoshop to make this cheap looking stamp. Yes, this stamp is the worse stamp ever, but I don't exactly have the tools of the trade to make it.

BUT I feel like this had to be said and nobody might have stated this yet.
